With student checking, there are no fees when your account is overdrawn up to $100.00** A fee of $29.00 per item will be charged for overdrafts that draw the account negative more than $100.00, and is limited to 3 overdrafts per day. A $250.00 Stress-Free Overdraft Line of Credit is available for students 18 and over.

*Students will earn $10 for every A received on a report card, per semester. To earn the reward, student must provide a copy of the report card to info@nymeo.org or at a branch location, within thirty days of the report card issuance. Reward may be taxable. Reward will be automatically deposited into the student checking account. Nymeo reserves the right to cancel the bonus at any time.
**Student Checking is eligible to students ages 16-24 years old. No minimum balance. Initial Deposit of $25.00. Student Checking Account will automatically convert to the Simply Free Checking Account the month following the student's 25th birthday. Student must be the primary account holder and not a joint account holder. A joint account holder that is over the age of 18 and is a parent or legal guardian of the Student will be required if the Student is under 18 at the time of account opening. The account must register for eStatements in the first 60 days of account opening and will be assessed a $2.00 monthly paper statement fee until the account is registered for e-statements. Surcharge free ATMs include Nymeo, Co-op and Allpoint ATM machines. A fee of $1.50 will be charged for use at any other ATM. A student checking account may be overdrawn up to $100 without being charged a fee. After an account is negative $100 or more, a $29.00 non-sufficient funds fee may be charged for overdrawn items, and these items will not be paid. Negative balances must be repaid within 30 days. A $250 Stress-Free Overdraft Line of Credit is available for students 18 years old and over. The parent or legal guardian is financially responsible for the actions of the Student, including any overdrawn account balances. Not all may qualify. Must be a member. Other restrictions may apply.
