No, DoubleCheck is a service to all members with a Nymeo checking account. However, it is up to you to use the service when receiving an alert. It doesn’t cost anything to login and view the transactions.
When a transaction might cause an overdraft, this is how DoubleCheck works:
1, DoubleCheck will send you an alert via email and text.
2. Log into online or mobile banking and follow the instructions to decide how to pay for the item, including agreeing to a service charge of $20.
3. You have the option to pay for items with cash, a credit card, a third-party payment service, or by transferring funds from another account at Nymeo.
4. You only pay the service charge if you use DoubleCheck to make any changes.
5. It doesn’t cost anything to login and view your transactions.
6. The $20 fee is applied only after you elect to make changes.

DoubleCheck is a service that provides additional control and transparency over your account in case of insufficient funds. If you have transactions that result in overdraft fees,
DoubleCheck gives you extra time to rectify the situation before your transaction is returned, and you are charged a Non-Sufficient Funds fee(NSF) – when you dip below zero - or a Courtesy Pay fee.
DoubleCheck can apply to most types of transactions, including checks, ACH payments, and debit card transactions.
